Joshua Tree
:
Known as the "Singing Club" of the High Desert,  these Rotarians know how to sing, and they sing often during the meeting.  Great fun!  President Joe Guzzetta has this club on the right track to increase membership, and continue their great project in Baja and their Christmas Giving program.

Twentynine Palms:  Chartered in 1948, 29 Palms is the oldest of the clubs in the High Desert.  Their members represent a good cross section of the community, and they are very involved in local and international projects.  Their Interact Club is one of four from our District that will help decorate the 2008 Rose Parade float.  President Jim Thompson learned to drive in a fire truck, and is steering this Club with all the right lights flashing.

San Gorgonio Pass:  It is hard to believe this Club is only in it's third year.  Great fellowship, great community projects, great international project, and thanks to John Russo - great food!  With members like George Rice, Larry Higgins and Otis Clever, President Art Welch can drive this Club with ease.

Desert Hot Springs:  Fireside chats, local projects, and new members were the topics of discussion for this visit.  President Lane Sarasohn and his Board are formulating a plan to strengthen their Club.  An added highlight of the meeting was a guest appearance by Don Novello,  better known as Father Guido Sarducci of "Saturday Night Live" fame.  Don was in town visiting his friend President Lane, and was kind enough to stop in.
